Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai warning to ZP CEOs

Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today asked the Zilla Panchayat CEOs to keep the PDOs and other sub-ordinate officers under control and win the trust of people through work.
The Chief Minister held a meeting of the ZP CEOs today in Bengaluru. “Please ensure proper decentralisation of power. Visit the villages first and inspect. There are allegations that CEOs won’t visit the villages at all and PDOs are not afraid of you. How many of you have visited the GPs and inspected? How many beneficiaries lists have you have selected? You people will drag the work for 12 months which can be completed in 4 months. But it should change from now onwards. Work and win the trust of the people,” he said.
“The administration under our government is moving in a very scientific manner. Don’t consider my administration like others. My style of work is different. Do you think there is nobody to question you? I am serious. We have asked you to administer vaccines to children in schools. How many of you have considered it seriously? There are about 3 lakh children in one district. If anything happens to them who will be responsible? It is your duty to implement social and government programs,” he warned.
