ಗೌರಿ ಬಿದನೂರು,ಸೆಪ್ಟಂಬರ್,4,2020(www.justkannada.in): ಸಿನಿಮಾ ನಟ-ನಟಿಯರು, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಗಣ್ಯರು ನಮ್ಮ‌ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅಂಬಾಸಿಡರ್‌ ಗಳಿದ್ದಂತೆ. ಅವರೇ ದುಷ್ಚಟಗಳಿಗೆ ದಾಸರಾದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಹ ದಿಕ್ಕುತಪ್ಪಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಆಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ‌ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.‌ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಗೌರ ಬಿದನೂರು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್,  ಡ್ರಗ್ಸ್ ದಂಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡ ದೊಡ್ಡ ನಾಯಕರು, ನಟ-ನಟಿಯರು ಭಾಗಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾನು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.‌ಆದರೆ, ಇವರು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ‌ ಅಂಬಾಸಿಡರ್ ಇದ್ದಂತೆ. ಇವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾಲಿಸುವ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿಗಳಂತೆ ಶುದ್ಧ ನಡವಳಿಕೆ ಹೊಂದಿರಬೇಕು. ಇವರೇ ಹಾದಿತಪ್ಪಿದರೆ ಹೇಗೆ? ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಾದಕ ವಸ್ತು ಸೇವನೆಯಿಂದ ಇಡೀ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಸಂದೇಶ ರವಾನಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಆಗಲಿದೆ.‌ ಅವರು ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಹೆಸರೂ ಹಾಳಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೇ ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಸರಕಾರ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು,. ತಪ್ಪಿರಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷೆ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ. ಈ ವಿಚಾರವಾಗಿ ಗೃಹ ಸಚಿವರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಡ್ರಗ್ ಇದೊಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮಾಫಿಯಾ. ಅಫ್ರಿಯಾ,ಮೆಕ್ಸಿಕೋನಂಥ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದಂದೆಯಂತೆ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಮಟ್ಟ ಹಾಕುವುದು ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯ ಎಂದರು.

“Strict actions against those involved in Sandalwood drug racket”

Celebrities who have been recognised through their achievements, movie actors and actresses are the ambassadors of art and culture for our people. If they fall prey to vices, it will mislead the people who look up to them, said Hon’ble Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar.

He was speaking to media persons after attending the progress review meeting of departments in Gauribidanur taluk on Friday.

Refraining from making personal comments of leaders, actors and actresses who are said to be part of Sandalwood drug racket, he said they must posses virtues as they are the people who guide others in the society. Drug abuse will not only send a wrong message to the society but also will damage the reputation garnered over the years.

The State Government will take strict actions against those involved in this case, the Minister assured and added he has spoken to home minister too in this regard. It is important to put an end to drug mafia, he said.
