Five thousand jobs through Cooperative Societies by the end of June – Minister S.T. Somashekar

Mysuru, Nov. 24, 2020 (www.justkananda.in): Minister S.T. Somashekar has informed that measures are being taken to create 5,000 jobs through 40,000 cooperative societies in the State by the month of June 2021, in phases.I didn't knew CM BSY will think so cheaply - KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar
Speaking to the press in Mysuru today, he informed that many people have lost jobs due to the Covid pandemic and many of them are not getting jobs. “Keeping this in mind I have instructed to create jobs through cooperative societies. On the occasion, he explained that a sum of Rs.39,300 crore loans will be distributed under the ‘Aarthika Spandana’ programmes, in Bengaluru, Mysuru, Kalaburagi, and Belagavi divisions. We have already appointed nodal officers to all these four divisions to ensure proper use of the programme and keep it transparent,” he added.
Further, he said that the department had an aim of providing Rs. 15,300 crore loans to 24.50 lakh farmers in the State as farming loans and a sum of Rs. 9,945.82 crore loans have been already disbursed to 15,22,076 farmers.
