ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 9,2021(www.justkannada.in): ಭಾರತೀಯ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಮೇಳ 2021 ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಮತ್ತು ರೈತರಿಂದ ಅಭೂತಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಕಾಲಘಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಬೃಹತ್ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಮೇಳ ಇದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಗೆ ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸದೆ, ರೈತರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಐಐಎಚ್ಎಫ್ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಬೆಳೆಗಳು, ಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಬೆಳೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿಧ ತಳಿಯ ಹೂವಿನ ತಳಿಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಸುಮಾರು 140 ಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಸ್ಟಾಲ್ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಿಳಿಯಲು ಹೆಸರಘಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಮೇಳಕ್ಕೆ ದಾಂಗುಡಿ ಇಟ್ಟರು. ನೋಂದಣಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನ ಸುಮಾರು 8 ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಮಂದಿ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಮೇಳ ವಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿದರು. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು, ಐಐಎಚ್ಎಫ್ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ವಿವಿಧ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಗಿಡಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬೀಜಗಳ ಖರೀದಿಗೆ ಮುಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಐಐಎಚ್ ಎಫ್ ನ ತಾಟು ಗಳಿಗೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ವಿವಿಧ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಬೆಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೂವಿನ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದರು. ಐಐಎಚ್ ಎಫ್ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಟೊಮೆಟ್ ಬೆಳೆಗಾಳದ ಅರ್ಕಾ ಅಬೇದ್, ಮೆಣಸಿನ ಕಾಯಿ ಅರ್ಕಾ ತುಳಸಿ,, ಅರ್ಕಾ ಸಂಗಮ್ ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ, ಅರ್ಕಾ ಚೆನ್ನ ಕನಕಾಂಬರ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಬೆಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೂಹಣ್ಣಿನ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದರು.
ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಐಐಎಚ್ ಆರ್ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿ ಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದು ಅದನ್ನು ಬಳಸುವ ವಿಧಾನ ಕುರಿತು ತಿಳಿದು ಕೊಂಡರು.
ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿ
ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನ ಮೂರು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾರತದ ರೈತರಿಗೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಮೂರು ವಲಯವಾರು ನಡೆದ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಮ್ಮು ಕಾಶ್ಮೀರ, ಎರಡನೇ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಸ್ಥಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಹರಿಯಾಣ, ಮೂರನೇ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ರೈತರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ರೈತರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಇಂದು ಅವರ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಿದರು. ದೇಶದ ನಾನಾ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಸಂಶೋಧನ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳು ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಈ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ರೈತರು ಕೆವಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದರು. ಜತೆಗೆ ಐಐಎಚ್ಆರ್ ನ ವಿವಿಧ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ತಳಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಾತ್ಯಕ್ಷಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ರೈತರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಟೊಮೆಟೋ, ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ, ಹೀರೆಕಾಯಿ, ಈರುಳ್ಳಿ, ಬೆಂಡೆಕಾಯಿ, ಕುಂಬಳಕಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತಿತರ ತರಕಾರಿ ಬೆಳೆದ ರೈತರು ಐಐಎಚ್ಆರ್ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಬೀಜಗಳಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಇಳುವರಿ ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಂಬ ಕುರಿತು ಸಿದ್ದಪಡಿಸಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಒದಗಿಸಿದರು.
ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಐಐಎಚ್ ಆರ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ.ಎಂ.ಆರ್. ದಿನೇಶ್ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಐಐಎಚ್ ಆರ್ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ಆನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ನಾಯರ್, ಡಾ.ರಾಜೀವ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಡಾ. ಅಂಜನಿಕುಮಾರ್ ಜಾ, ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

Over eight thousand people visited NHF , 2021
Bengaluru, February 9: Over 8000 people and farmers have visited the National Horticulture Fair (NHF) 2021 on second day, held at Indian Institute of Horticultural Research (IIHR) situated in Hesarghatta.
According to sources in NHF registration counter, by afternoon, nearly 6000 people have registered and registrations of another two to three thousands are expected by end of the day.
“People response was overwhelming, they have visited our live demonstrations at field and stalls. Our scientists at field have given necessary information to the general public and the farmers about horticulture crops, fruits and flowers developed by the IIHR”, said Dr. M.R. Dinesh, Director, IIHR.
Officers deputed at registration counter had herculean task to manage the crowd, they have allowed the public to inside after conducting covid -19 protocol.
Farmers have visited live demonstrations sites, taken first hand information about IIHR horticulture crops. They have surprised after seeing new varieties of tomato, bottle gourd , ridge gourd and pumpkin and new verities of flower at demonstration sites.
Farmers have taken information from IIHR scientists at filed regarding cultivation of horticulture crops and enquired about IIHR released seeds.
IIHR has released new varieties of tomato Arka Abhed, Arka Tulasi Chilly, Arka Sangam, Watermelon and other horticulture crops.
Technical Session
On second day technical session organized for farmers of Jammu and Kashmir, Rajastan, Hariyana and Uttar Pradesh. ICAR scientists from across the country have attended the session through online and answer the queries of the farmers.
Questions have taken from the farmers prior to NHF, same has been sent to the scientists, expert in horticulture crops. Through online, answers have been given to the farmers, farmers have attended the live session through online at different KVKs across the country.
Along with reply, IIHR has showcased the live demonstrations to the farmers about IIHR verities of horticulture crops and success stories of the farmers. Even IIHR has shown the recorded interview of the farmers from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala and Tamil Nadu to the farmers of North India. IIHR Director Dr. M.R.Dinesh, IIHR senior and Principal scientists, Dr. Anil Kumar Nair, Dr. Rajive Kumar, Dr. Anjanikumar Jha were attended the technical session.
