Decline in Neo-natal Mortality ratio: Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar

Speaking at the two-day national webinar on the topic “Challenges in Neonatal care and Infant protection” organised by the Food Science and Nutrition Research Division, Mysore University, as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations, he explained that NMR had declined to lesser than 1/4, which was 1/3 in the year 1990. It is a result of the importance given by the police makers towards neonatal care and survival.
