ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್, 30,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ 1700 ಶಾಲಾ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಕ್ಷರತಾ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದ ಪೂರ್ವಭಾವಿ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಕ್ಷರತಾ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು, ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವವು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಲಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಶ್ರೀ ಕಂಠೀರವ ಹೊರಾಂಗಣ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಚಿವ ಮಧುಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿದರು.
“ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವನಾಗಿ ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಮೂರನೇ ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ. ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ವಿಭಿನ್ನವಾಗಿ ರೂಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಬಾರಿ 1100 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ 300 ಮಂದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ಬಾರಿ 1700 ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ 700 ಮಂದಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು. ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ವಿಧಾನ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಸಭಾಪತಿ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಹೊರಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಯು.ಟಿ. ಖಾದರ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿರಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕನ್ನಡ ರಾಜ್ಯೋತ್ಸವದಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಹಲವು ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.
, “ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಚಿತ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ರೆಮಿಡಿಯಲ್ ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸುಲಭವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 14 ರಂದು ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಪೋಷಕರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೇ, ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪ್ರಚಾರ (Admission Drive) ಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಲ್‌ಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪಿಯುಸಿ ಉತ್ತೀರ್ಣ ಅಂಕಗಳು 35ರಿಂದ 33ಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಗದಿ ಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಚಿವ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿ, “ಇದು ನನ್ನ ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವಲ್ಲ. ಜನಾಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಪಡೆದು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಯೋಜನಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ನೇಮಕಾತಿ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮಧು ಬಂಗಾರಪ್ಪ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆಯಾಗಿ ಸುಮಾರು 32 ರಿಂದ 33 ಸಾವಿರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು (ಶಾಲಾ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ, ಪಿಯುಸಿ, ಅನುದಾನಿತ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ) ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು,” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Preparations for Kannada Rajyotsava in Full Swing – 1,700 Students to Participate in Cultural Events: Minister Madhu Bangarappa
Bengaluru, October 30:
Minister for School Education and Literacy, Mr. Madhu Bangarappa, announced that this year’s Kannada Rajyotsava celebration will witness major changes and a grand participation of students, including a significant number from government schools.
Speaking to the media after reviewing the arrangements at the Sree Kanteerava Outdoor Stadium along with senior police and education department officials, the minister said, “This is my third Rajyotsava as Education Minister. Last year, 1,100 students participated, including 300 from government schools. This time, 1,700 students will take part, with 700 being government school students. All participants will receive certificates.”
The grand Kannada Rajyotsava event will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Sri Siddaramaiah, in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Sri D.K. Shivakumar, Legislative Council Chairman Sri Basavaraj Horatti, and Legislative Assembly Speaker Sri U.T. Khader.
Highlighting ongoing reforms, Mr. Bangarappa said, “Government schools are now receiving free electricity, which helps teachers conduct remedial classes effectively. On November 14, a special Children’s Day celebration will be held, bringing together students, parents, and teachers. The Chief Minister will also make several key announcements related to school and PU students on the occasion of Kannada Rajyotsava and an Admission Drive will be launched.”
Responding to the reduction of SSLC and PUC passing marks from 35% to 33%, the minister clarified, “This was not a personal decision but one based on public opinion. It benefits rural and economically weaker students. CBSE and ICSE boards already follow the 33% pass standard.”
On recruitment, he added, In the coming academic year, a total of around 32,000–33,000 teachers including the already recruited 13,000 teachers (across government, PU, and aided institutions) will be recruited.”
Senior officials including Principal Secretary Rashmi Mahesh, Commissioner Vikas Kishore Suralkar, PUC Director Bharat S., and other senior officials of the department including Dr. K. Vidyakumari, Basavarajendra, H.N. Gopalakrishna and Krishnaji S. Karichannavar were present on the occasion.
