ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಸೆಪ್ಟಂಬರ್,19,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ಏರ್‌ ಬಸ್‌-320 ಮಾದರಿಯ ದೊಡ್ಡ ವಿಮಾನಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಾತ್ರಿ ವೇಳೆ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡಿಂಗ್‌ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರ ಅನುಕೂಲಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಗ್ರೀನ್‌ಫೀಲ್ಡ್‌ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ 270.83 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಸಚಿವ ಸಂಪುಟ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ. ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು, ʻಗುರುವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿಸ್ತೃತವಾಗಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿ, ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ವಿಜಯಪುರ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಒಟ್ಟು ವೆಚ್ಚವು 618.75 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಎಟಿಆರ್‌ ಮಾದರಿಯ ನಾಗರಿಕ ವಿಮಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿದ್ದ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಮೂಲ ವಿನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಏರ್‌ಬಸ್‌-320 ಮಾದರಿಯ ವಿಮಾನಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗೂ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಬದಲಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆʼ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಮೂಲವಿನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ವಿಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಮಾತ್ರ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್‌ ಬಸ್‌ ಮಾದರಿಯ ವಿಮಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಲಿ, ನೈಟ್‌ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡಿಂಗ್‌ ಗಾಗಲಿ ಅವಕಾಶವಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಉತ್ತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ನಗರಗಳು ಕ್ಷಿಪ್ರವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿವೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಮಹಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಸೊಲ್ಲಾಪುರ, ಸತಾರಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳೂ ವಿಜಯಪುರಕ್ಕೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿವೆ. ಇತ್ತ ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ, ಕಲಬುರಗಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹಲವು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕುಗಳ ಒಡನಾಟವೂ ವಿಜಯಪುರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದೆ. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಐವತ್ತು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ, ಹಲವು ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಈಗ ಸೇರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈಗ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ಹಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೈಟ್‌ ಲ್ಯಾಂಡಿಂಗ್‌ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳು, ರನ್‌ ವೇಯ ಎರಡೂ ಬದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪೇವ್ಡ್‌ ಶೋಲ್ಡರ್‌ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಸ್ವಾಧೀನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಪರಿಹಾರ ಬಾಬ್ತಿಗೆ 65 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವಿನಿಯೋಗಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ವಿಜಯಪುರ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಿಂದ ರಾ.ಹೆ.50ಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಿರುವ ಮೀಸಲು ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ 52 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಮೂಲವಿನ್ಯಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಇವುಗಳ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪವೇ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ 25 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ವಿಮಾನ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ವಾಹನಗಳು (ಎಆರ್‌ಎಫ್‌ಎಫ್‌) ಮತ್ತು ಉಪಕರಣಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಮಿಕ್ಕಂತೆ 2.76 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಂಬ್‌ ಪತ್ತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಷ್ಕ್ರಿಯಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು (ಬಿಡಿಡಿಎಸ್‌) ಮತ್ತು 13.09 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿವಿಒಆರ್‌ (ಡೋಪ್ಲರ್‌ ವೆರಿ ಹೈ ಫ್ರೀಕ್ವೆನ್ಸಿ ಓಮ್ನಿ ರೇಂಜ್‌) ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ಖರೀದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಳವಡಿಕೆ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ನಡೆಯಲಿವೆ ಎಂದೂ ಅವರು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರಕಾರದ ನಾಗರಿಕ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ತಂಡಗಳು ಕಾಲಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದು ನಿಗದಿತ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಹಣಕಾಸು ನೆರವು ಕೋರಿ ಈ ವರ್ಷದ ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಲಹೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂದಾಜು ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಪರಿಷ್ಕೃತ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ತನ್ನ ಒಪ್ಪಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ನಂತರ ಸಂಪುಟ ಸಭೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವನ್ನು ವಿಜಯಪುರ ಮತ್ತು ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ದೂರದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣವು ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ನಂತರ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ತರ ಭಾರತದ ನಡುವೆ ಸೇತುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಪರಿಣಮಿಸಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Cabinet nods additional ₹271 crore for Vijayapura Airport: MB Patil
Bengaluru: Infrastructure Development Minister and Vijayapura district in-charge MB Patil said on Friday the state cabinet has approved an additional allocation of ₹270.83 crore for the Vijayapura Greenfield Airport to facilitate operations of Airbus-320 type aircraft, night landing facilities, and other related infrastructure.
He explained that the cabinet, at its meeting on Thursday, discussed the proposal in detail before granting approval. With this, the airport’s total development cost will rise to ₹618.75 crore. The escalation, Patil noted, stemmed from modifying the original design—intended only for ATR aircraft operations—to also accommodate Airbus-320 aircraft.
Of the fresh allocation, ₹65 crore has been earmarked for night-landing works, paved shoulders on both sides of the runway, and compensation for land acquisition. Another ₹52 crore will go towards developing an approach road linking Vijayapura Airport with National Highway-50.
In addition, ₹25 crore will be used to procure two ARFF (Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting) vehicles along with equipment. A further ₹2.76 crore has been set aside for BDS (Baggage Detection System) equipment and ₹13.09 crore for DVOR (Doppler VHF Omni-Directional Range) equipment procurement and installation. Patil clarified that these requirements, though essential, were not included in the original project approval.
The airport project is being periodically reviewed by the Union Ministry of Civil Aviation and the Airports Authority of India. Their recommendations are being implemented in line with prescribed standards. To secure funding for the additional facilities, a revised proposal was submitted as early as February this year to the State-level Technical Advisory and Estimates Committee. After its approval, the proposal was placed before the cabinet, Patil said.
The minister stressed that the airport is being developed with a long-term vision, considering the industrial, economic, educational, and tourism prospects of Vijayapura and neighbouring districts. Once operational, the airport will serve as a vital link between Karnataka and North India, he observed.
