ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಬಿ.ಸಿ ನಾಗೇಶ್, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ರಜೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಸಿಲೆಬಸ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಕುರಿತು  ಚಿಂತನೆ ಇದೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆದಿಲ್ಲ. ಮುಂದಿನ‌ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ  ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ನೋಡಿ, ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಬಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದರು.

1 ರಿಂದ 5 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಶಾಲೆ ಆರಂಭ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಬಿ.ಸಿ ನಾಗೇಶ್, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಭೆ ಸದ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ.  ಸದ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ 1 ರಿಂದ 5 ರವರೆಗೆ ಶಾಲೆ ತೆರೆಯುವ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಮಿತಿ ಮುಂದೆ ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಸಮಿತಿ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದರೇ 1ರಿಂದ 5ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಆರಂಭ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ನುಡಿದರು.

We are contemplating on restricting leaves of teachers to complete syllabus’: Education Minister B.C. Nagesh
Shivamogga, September 11, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Primary and Secondary Education Minister B.C. Nagesh today informed that the government is planning to cut the holidays of teachers to complete the syllabus.
Speaking to the media persons today at Shivamogga, he informed that however no discussions were held till now regarding this. He said, in the coming days such a move would be considered if found necessary.
Responding to the question of starting classes from 1st to 5th standard he informed that a technical meeting would be held shortly comprising members of the technical committee. The classes from 1st to 5th standard will be commenced if the technical committee gives permission.
