ಮೈಸೂರಲ್ಲಿಂದು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕನಕ ಜಯಂತಿ, ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ , ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ಜಾತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ತರಲು ಬಿಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಸಮಾನತೆ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಅವರು ಶೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂಮರನ್ನು ಬಿದರು ಗೊಂಬೆಯಂತೆ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಆಟವಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನೀವು ಇಂದು ಬದಲಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ . ಸುಮ್ಮನೆ ಕನಕ ದಾಸರಿಗೆ ಹಾರ ಹಾಕಿ ಹೊರಟರೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ದೇಶ ಭಕ್ತರನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟು ಹಾಕುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಎಂದು ಸುಳ್ಳು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಇವರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರು ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಹೋರಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ನ ಯಾರು ತ್ಯಾಗ ಬಲಿದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.ನೀವೆಲ್ಲರು ಇದನ್ನು ಅರಿತು ಬದಲಾಗಬೇಕಿದೆ.  ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ ಎಸ್ ಹೆಸರು ಹೇಳಿ ಬಿಜೆಪಿಯನ್ನು ದೂರವಿಡಿ ಎಂದರು.

ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಹೆಚ್ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಜೊತೆಗಿನ ಒಡನಾಟ ಮೆಲುಕು ಹಾಕಿದ ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ, ಹಿಂದೆ ಕುರುಬ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಿಂಜರಿಯುದ್ದರು. ನಾನು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಚರಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು  ಸಂಘಟಿಸಿ ಕಾಳಿದಾಸ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಘ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೆವು. ನಾನು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗಿದ್ದೆ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಜನರಲ್ ಸೆಕ್ರೆಟರಿ ಆಗಿದ್ದ. ನಾನು ಲಾಯರ್ ಆದ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.

ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಸಂಪುಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಬರಬೇಕು- ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಅರವಿಂದ ಮಾಲಗತ್ತಿ‌

ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಅರವಿಂದ ಮಾಲಗತ್ತಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ‌ ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಜಯಂತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಎರೆಡನ್ನ ಒಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಆಚರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. 75 ನೇ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ 75 kg ತೂಕದ ಕೇಕ್ ಕಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕನಕ ದಾಸರು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕಕ್ಕೆ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ. ಕನಕದಾಸರ ಜಯಂತಿ ಆರಂಭ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯ ಪಲ್ಲಟವಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾನದ ಪ್ರತೀಕ. ಅನ್ನವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬದುಕಬಹುದು ಸ್ವಾಭಿಮಾವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬದುಕಲಾರದು. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಟೀಕೆಗಳನ್ನ ಎದುರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೆಳ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರು ಹೇಗೆ ಬದುಕಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನ ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಭಾಷಣಗಳು ಸಂಗ್ರಹವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಬರಬೇಕು. ಕೆಲವೊಂದು ಮಾತುಗಳು ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೇಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಜಾತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಾತ್ವಿಕವಾದ ಮನೋಭಾವನೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಸಂಪುಟಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರಬರಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.

ಯಾವುದೇ ಒಂದು ಧರ್ಮದಿಂದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಉಳಿವು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಸಂತ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಉಳಿವು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲೂ ಸಂತರಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಂತರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪುನರುಜ್ಜೀವನ ಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು. ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯನವವರು ಅಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರೆ ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ‌ ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಖ್ಯಾತ ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಅರವಿಂದ ಮಾಲಗತ್ತಿ ನುಡಿದರು.

He inaugurated the Kanaka Jayanthi and talent felicitation program held in Mysuru today. In his address, he said, “the RSS won’t allow to bring changes in the caste system. They can’t exploit if there is no inequality. They are using the minorities as a puppet and playing games. You people have to change. It is not enough if you just garland the statue of Kanakadasa and leave. They falsely claim that the RSS is an organization that produces patriots. Tell me which RSS person has taken part in the independence struggle? What type of sacrifice have they given? All of you should become aware of this truth. Please keep the BJP away by taking the name of RSS.”
Recalling his companionship with H. Vishwanath earlier, Siddaramaiah said that many people belonging to the Kuruba community used to hesitate to mention their community name. “Me and H. Vishwanath visited many colleges and used to unite our community students and we had also built the Kalidasa community. I was the President and Vishwanath was the General Secretary. After I became a lawyer, H. Vishwanath became the President,” he said.
Speaking on the occasion, litterateur Aravinda Malagatti expressed his view that Siddaramaiah is a symbol of self-esteem. “He can live without food, but he can’t live without his self-esteem. He is facing lot of criticisms. But he is the person who has shown minorities and other backward class people how to live. All his speeches should become a collection. Only he can tell a few words. Siddaramaiah has a philosophical approach towards the caste system. His speeches should be published in editions,” he added.
