ಪೇಜಾವರ ಸ್ವಾಮಿಗಳು ದಲಿತರ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತು ಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದಷ್ಟೇ, ಅವರು ಕೋಳಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ತಿನ್ನೋಕೆ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆಯೇ..? ಕುರಿ ರಕ್ತದ ಫ್ರೈ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟರೆ ತಿಂತಾರಾ..? ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ವಿವಾದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ಧ ನಟ ಹಂಸಲೇಖ ಇದೀಗ ಎರಡು ಬಾರಿ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯಾಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ದಲಿತರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೇಜಾವರ ಶ್ರೀಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ನೀಡಿರುವ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗೆ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯಾಚಿಸುವೆ. ನುಡಿದರೇ ಮುತ್ತಿನಂತಿರಬೇಕು ಆದ್ರೆ ನಾನು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ನಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಮಾತನ್ನ  ನನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿಯೇ ಒಪ್ಪಲಿಲ್ಲ.  ನನ್ನ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಪತ್ನಿಯೇ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲ ಮಾತುಗಳು ವೇದಿಕೆಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲ ಅನ್ನೋದು ನನಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಿದೆ, ತಪ್ಪು. ಅದು ಒಂದು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರ ಸಭೆ ಅದು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ, ನುಡಿದರೆ ಮುತ್ತಿನ ಹಾರದಂತೆ ಇರಬೇಕು ಎನ್ನುವಂತೆ ಇರಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯತೆಯ ಅನಿಷ್ಟವನ್ನು ತೊಡೆದು ಹಾಕೋದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೇಜಾವರ ಶ್ರೀಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ಗುರು-ಹಿರಿಯರು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ, ಸಂಧಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಲೇ ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.  ಅಸ್ಪೃಶ್ಯತೆ ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸಲು ಪೇಜಾವರ ಶ್ರೀಗಳ ಶ್ರಮ ಅಪಾರ.  ಆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ, ಸಂಧಾನಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನನಗೆ ಅಪಾರವಾದ ಗೌರವ ಇದೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಾನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಆಡಿದ ಕೆಲ ಮಾತುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಗೂ ಇಷ್ಟವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆಕೆಯ ಕ್ಷಮೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರ. ನನಗ್ಯಾಕೆ ಈ ಟ್ರೋಲ್. ಕಂಟ್ರೋಲ್ ಆಗಿರುವುದಷ್ಟೇ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೆಲಸ. ಯಾರ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನೋಯಿಸುವ ಇಷ್ಟವಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಹಂಸಲೇಖ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Hamsalekha had recently commented, “The Pejawar seer can go to a Dalit’s house, and sit there if he is offered non-vegetarian food, can he consume it? will he eat mutton fry if he is offered…?.” His had created a controversy. Hence, he has apologized for the same.
He has stated that even his wife didn’t like his comments, and hence he apologized in front of him also. “It is not my intention to hurt the feelings of anyone,” he stated.
