ಕೊರೋನಾ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಕಳೆದ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷದಿಂದ ಕಡಲೆಕಾಯಿ ಪರಿಷೆ ನಡೆದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಇದೀಗ ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಕೊರೊನಾ ಸೋಂಕು ಕಡಿಮೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಕಡೆಲೆಕಾಯಿ ಪರಿಷೆ ನಡೆಸಲು ಬಿಬಿಎಂಪಿ ಅನುಮತಿ ನೀಡಿದೆ.

ಕೊನೆಯ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಅಂದರೆ ನವೆಂಬರ್ 29 ರಂದು ಕಡಲೆಕಾಯಿ ಪರಿಷೆಗೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ಸಿಗಲಿದ್ದು ಸುಮಾರು ಒಂದು ವಾರಗಳ ಕಾಲ ಇದು ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಪರಿಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ತಳಿಯ ಕಡಲೆಕಾಯಿಗಳು ಸಿಗಲಿದ್ದು,  ಜತೆಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೊರ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಿಗಳು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಬೀಡುಬಿಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಜನರು ಬಂದು ಪರಿಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ.

BBMP gives green signal to historic ‘Kadalekayi Parishe’
Bengaluru, November 10, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has given a green signal to the historic Groundnut Fair (Kadalekayi Parishe) that takes place every year in Basavanagudi.
The fair was not conducted for the last two years due to the pandemic. As the number of corona cases has reduced the BBMP has been allowed to conduct the fair this year.
The fair will commence from November 29, the last Monday of the auspicious Karthika month, and will go on for one week. Various varieties of peanuts will be sold during the fair. Traders from various states will take part.
