ಮೈಸೂರು,ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ,10,2023(www.justkannada.in): ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್‌ (ISCA) ಸದಸ್ಯರುಗಳು ಶ್ರೀ ಆದಿಚುಂಚನಗಿರಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ, ಆದಿಚುಂಚನಗಿರಿ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಫಾರ್ ಮಾಲಿಕ್ಯೂಲರ್ ಮೆಡಿಸಿನ್‌ ನ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಶೋಭಿತ್ ರಂಗಪ್ಪರವರನ್ನು 2023-24 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನ ISCA ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ ಮತದಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಯ್ಕೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಡಾ. ಶೋಭಿತ್, ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಸಂಶೋಧಕರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಜರ್ನಲ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 80 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಪ್ರಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ 5 ಪೇಟೆಂಟ್‌ ಗಳನ್ನು ಕ್ಯಾನ್ಸರ್ ಡ್ರಗ್ ಡಿಸ್ಕವರಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

“ಡಾ. ಶೋಭಿತ್ ರಂಗಪ್ಪ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಸರಾಂತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ISCA ಗುರುತಿಸಿರುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಆದಿಚುಂಚನಗಿರಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂದ ಗೌರವವಾಗಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಡಾ. ಶೋಭಿತ್ ಇನ್ನೂ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವರು ಎಂದು ನಮಗೆ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿದೆ” ಎಂದು ಆದಿಚುಂಚನಗಿರಿ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಉಪಕುಲಪತಿ ಡಾ ಎಂ.ಎ, ಶೇಖರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Mysuru, Mar. 04, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Prof. K.S. Rangappa, Immediate Past General President, Indian Science Congress Association (ISCA), Professor, Institution of Excellence,Vignana Bhavan, University of Mysore, has been selected for the ‘Asutosh Mookerjee Fellowship 2021-2022’, accorded by the Indian Science Congress Association, Kolkata.
The ISCA has instituted Ten senior Fellowships in the name of Asutosh Mookerjee Fellowship to utilize the services of the life members of the association. Prof. K.S. Rangappa has been selected for the prestigious fellowship considering his contributions and achievements to the world of science. The fellowship carries a honorarium of Rs.30,000 per month and an annual contingency of Rs.1 lakh.
