Expressing his ire on misuse of EVMs he said that nobody have trust on EVMs and demanded to reintroduce ballot papers.
“In Bihar almost all the pre-poll surveys had predicted that the Mahaghatbandan would win more seats, but the results were surprising! what does this mean!? Doesn’t this mean the BJP has been misusing EVMs?, he alleged.condemnation-electricity-price-hike-congress-spokesperson-m-laxman-government
“The EVMs that were used for voting in the recently held Sira and R.R. Nagar byelections were brought from BJP run states. While a superpower nation like America is using ballot papers for elections why should we use EVMs,” he questioned. He also demanded the authority concerned to ban EVMs and also threatened of organizing a massive protest from Congress party against EVMs.
