ಆರೋಪಿಗಳು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಮೂಲದ ಒಬ್ಬ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೇರಳ ಮೂಲದ ಮೂವರು ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ ನಡೆದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾರನೇ ದಿನ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಈ ನಾಲ್ವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಕರಣ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಿಂದ ಪರಾರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಬುಧವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೂ ಕೂಡ ಈ ನಾಲ್ವರು ಗೈರಾಗಿದ್ದರು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.

The police have suspected four students who are studying in a private Engineering College in Mysuru.
Among them, one is said to be from Tamil Nadu, and three are from Kerala. All four have left Mysuru as soon as the news spread. They have not attended the exams that were held on Wednesday, it is learnt.
The team of police who are investigating the case, are on the lookout for them based on these clues. They have gone to Kerala and Tamil Nadu to arrest them.

ಸ್ವತಃ ಉಪಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲೇ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿದ್ದರೂ ಸುಮಾರು 1.35 ಲಕ್ಷ ನೌಕರರಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಳ ಆಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಬೇಸರವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಂಬಳ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ದೀಪಾವಳಿಯಂತಹ ಸಡಗರದ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನೂ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನೌಕರರು ಆಚರಿಸದಂತಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಈ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನೌಕರರ ಸಂಬಳ ಆಗದಿರುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಚಿವ ಸವದಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನೆಪ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಬಿಸಿ ಕೇವಲ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ತಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ. ಕೋವಿಡ್ ನೆಪ ಹೇಳುವುದು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಸಾರಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ, ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕ್ರೋಡೀಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಪರ್ಯಾಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕಡೆ ಬೊಟ್ಟು ತೋರಿಸಿದರೆ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನೌಕರರ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಯುವುದ್ದೇಗೆ? ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
