ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪಗೆ ಬಿಗ್ ರಿಲೀಫ್ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ.  ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಆರೋಪ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಬಿಎಸ್ ವೈ, ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಎಫ್ ಐ ಆರ್  ದಾಖಲಿಸಿ  ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುವಂತೆ ಲೋಕಾಯುಕ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಿತ್ತು.

ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ತಡೆ ಕಾಯ್ದೆಯಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಲಂಚ ಪ್ರಕರಣದ ದೂರನ್ನು ಮರುಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ  ಮಾಜಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಮೊರೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧದ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ಆರೋಪದ ಪ್ರಕರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರ ಪೂರ್ವಾನುಮತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸುವಂತೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿರುವ ಆದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಡೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಿದ್ದರು.

ಇದೀಗ ನ್ಯಾ ಡಿ ವೈ ಚಂಧ್ರಚೂಡ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಪೀಠ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಆದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಡೆ ನೀಡಿದೆ. ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ನೀಡುವಾಗ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ನಡೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತ ಟಿ.ಜೆ. ಅಬ್ರಹಾಂ 9 ಮಂದಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ನ್ಯಾಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಾಸಗಿ ದೂರು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

Big relief for former CM BSY: SC issues stay order over HC’s orders for an investigation
New Delhi, September 23, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Hon’ble Supreme Court, today issued stay orders against the High Court orders to conduct an investigation against the former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa, who is facing charges of corruption. Thus, the it is a big relief for the former CM.
B.S. Yediyurappa had appealed in the Hon’ble Supreme Court against the Karnataka High Court’s orders of initiating an investigation against himself and others over charges of corruption, under the Prevention of Corruption Act. He had appealed in the Supreme Court requesting a stay order against the Karnataka High Court’s order for an investigation though there is no prior permission of the Hon’ble Governor.
The Hon’ble Surpeme Court bench comprising Justice D.Y. Chandrachood has issued stay orders. Along with 8 others, Yediyurappa is facing charges of corruption in one of the BDA contract works, following a complaint lodged by social activist T.J. Abraham.
