ಮಹೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ 23 ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿ. ಭಾಗ್ಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಟಿ ನರಸೀಪುರ ಮೂಗುರು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಕಾಲೋನಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆ 24 ರಂದು ವಾಕಿಂಗ್ ಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ವಾಪಸ್ ಬಂದಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ದೂರು ನೀಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಭಾಗ್ಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿಯ ಮೃತದೇಹ ಟಿ ನರಸೀಪುರ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಹೊಸಹಳ್ಳಿ ಬ್ರಿಡ್ಜ್ ಸಮೀಪ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಯಾರೋ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಬಿಸಾಕಿರುವ ಶಂಕೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಭಾಗ್ಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಕುತ್ತಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಾಯದ ಗುರುತಗಳಾಗಿ ಅವರು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಕೊಡೆ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತ್ತು. ಜತೆಗೆ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತ ಗಿಡದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತದ ಕಲೆಯಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಟಿ ನರಸೀಪುರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದೀಗ ಬಂಧಿತ ಆರೋಪಿ ಮಹೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದಾಗಿ ತಪ್ಪೊಪ್ಪಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
ಭಾಗ್ಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಮಹೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಭಾಗ್ಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ವಿರೋಧ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ ವಾಕಿಂಗ್ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದ ಭಾಗ್ಯಲಕ್ಷ್ಮಿ ತಲೆಗೆ ಗುದ್ದಲಿಯಿಂದ ಹಲ್ಲೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಹೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಕೊಲೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನು.

Dead body of a woman found in canal: One person held
Mysuru, Sept. 2, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The T.Narasipura police have cracked the murder case where the dead body of a female was discovered from a canal. They have arrested a person on charges of killing the woman.
The arrested person is identified as Mahesh Kumar. Bhagyalakshmi, a resident of Ambedkar Colony, in Muguru village of T.Narasipura taluk had gone for walking on August 24 and didn’t return home. A complaint was registered in the police station, following which the police were investigating. The body of Bhagylakshmi was found near the Hoshalli bridge in T. Narasipura taluk. The police had suspected murder.
There were marks of wounds on the neck of the deceased woman, and the police had also recovered an umbrella from the site. The police had also traced blood marks in the nearby bushes. A case was registered at the T. Narasipura Police station. According to the police the arrested person Mahesh Kumar has confessed to having conducted the crime.
It is learned that he was in love with Bhagyalakshmi and the parents of the latter had opposed the relationship. Enraged by this the accused attacked her with a hoe and killed her.
