Transport Dept. employees withdraw their protest by giving 3 months deadline to govt.

Bengaluru, Dec. 14, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): The Transport Department employees who were protesting against the State Government demanding fulfillment of their various demands, including declaring them as government employees’ have withdrawn their protest, at last, sighing relief to the passengers.Transport employees- strike- ends-Three months -deadline - government.
Farmer leader Kodihalli Chandrashekar announced it formally regarding this. “We have given three months to the State Govt. to fulfill all our demands. If it fails to meet our demands, we will protest again. The employees will resume services from tomorrow,” he said.
“One of our major demands is to declare the transport department employees as government employees, which the government has not agreed. We won’t budge on this. Implementation of the 6th wage commission will come into force automatically from January 2021,” he added.
