Students are not daring to come to the College, online classes will be continued: MU VC Dr. G. Hemanth Kumar

Mysuru, Nov. 30, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): The students are still scared to come to the college because of the Covid pandemic. Hence, online classes will be continued, said Dr. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Mysore University.students-online-class-continues-mysore-university-vc-dr-g-hemanthkumar
He informed that students were not coming to the college even after 15 days after reopening. Hence, we have decided to continue conducting the classes online. Till now we have not found any severe case of COVID. Even though we are committed to ensuring that the students follow social distancing and follow other precautionary measures.

SPB Research Center in MU
On the occasion, he said that he had discussed with the renowned music director of Kannada film industry Sri Hamsalekha on establishing the S.P. Balasumbraniam Research Center in Mysore University. “We have reserved a sum of Rs.5 lakh for this plan. We have plans to conduct a one year-duration programme on SPB including research works. It will function from the Fine Arts College that is located in Manasa Gangotri campus, he said.
