Bengaluru, July 15, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Government of Karnataka has issued orders restricting taking photographs and videos in government offices.
Taking pictures and videos in any department government offices by private persons is prohibited. There are government offices in all the districts and taluk headquarters which are visited daily by hundreds of people for various works. A few people are found taking pictures of the office and videos and putting it in social media with different objectives. Several times it degrades the dignity of the State Government departments.
The State Government Employees’ Association State President had appealed to the State Government, stating that it also causes embarrassment to the women employees. Hence any outside people who visit the State Government offices should be prohibited from taking pictures and videos.
