SSLC exams held today across the State: Prohibitory orders issued in school surroundings

Mysuru, July 19, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): SSLC exams are being held across the state today. Prohibitory orders have been issued in the surroundings of the schools where exams are being conducted.
The exams will be held from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. Exams for three subjects including Mathematics, Science, Social Science are held on the first day. Exams for the remaining subjects like Kannada, English, and Hindi will be held on July 22. The exams are held following COVID guidelines strictly. Only one student is made to sit at one desk and only 12 students are accommodated in one classroom.
100 students are writing exams in one examination center. Thermal screening was conducted on all the students before entering the examination center. Measures have been taken to sanitize the entire center before and after the completion of the exams. Students who have symptoms like cough, cold, and fever are made to sit in separate classrooms and suitable police security has been provided near the examination centers.
Prohibitory orders have been imposed in 200 mts surround of the centers and all the xerox shops, cyber cafes, computer centers have been asked to close nearby the examination centers. People standing in groups, stand nearby and parking of vehicles has also been prohibited.
A total number of 38,989 students are appearing for the SSLC exams in Mysuru District. A total number of 237 examination centers are identified.
