“Radio Manasa” to go on air from March

Mysuru, Feb. 13, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Radio Manasa Kendra of the University of Mysore will start functioning in the Manasagaongtri campus from March, it reaches the people living 10 km radius.
The official logo of the University of Mysore’s radio station was released at a program held at the Vignana Bhavana on Saturday.
In his address, Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore informed that the ‘Manasa Radio Station’ has been set-up at an estimated cost of Rs. 35 lakh, at the Senate Bhavan in Manasagangotri and it is limited only to 10-15 km radius. “Efforts will be made to establish radio stations in Chamarajanagara, Hassan, Mandya in the coming days,” he added.
