“Provide guidance to the students from National and International experts”: Prof. K.S. Rangappa, UoM former VC

He inaugurated the ‘Social Chemistry 2020-21’ and book release program organized by the Department of Chemistry, University of Mysore, held at Manasagangotri.
In his address, he expressed his view that “Social Chemistry is an educational festival, in which students, researchers, and professors should participate. There are many talented students. Efforts should be made to recognize and encourage them.”
“Students today require future guidance. Along with the curriculum, they should be job-enabled by providing skill training,” he opined.
Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, in his address informed that the Department of Chemistry of the University is one of the oldest Departments and many students who pursued education here are presently serving in prestigious jobs across the world. “Because of the exemplary service of several Heads of this Department, the University is recognized across the world and has also set an example for other Departments to emulate,” he added.Country-Foreign-expert-students-Guidance-Give-Mysore VV-emeritus-Chancellor-Prof.K.S.Rangappa
