Protest against Maratha Development Corporation: Stones pelted on buses, tyres set on fire

Bengaluru, Dec. 5, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Protests were held across the State by several pro-Kannada organisations which had called for a Statewide bundh expressing ire on the State Government on forming of the Maratha Development Corporation.
Members of several pro-Kannada organisations staged a protest in front of the town hall in Bengaluru today. Heated arguments between the protestors and police were reported on the spot. The police took several of them into custody. Reports of stone-pelting on BMTC bus, depot No. 32, on Hosur road, near Chandapura has been reported. The protestors set a few tyres on fire at the Gandhi circle in Chitradurga and shouted slogans against the State government.
