Online courses for skill development of govt. officers as per UoM, ATE agreement: Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar

Mysuru, Mar.17, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “According to an agreement between the University of Mysore, in association with the Administrative Training Institute (ATI) mad on July 26, 2020, the University of Mysore is introducing Massive Open and Online Courses for skill development of government officials,” informed Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
He participated in a one-day workshop on the topic ‘Development of E-Contents for Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC), organized jointly by ‘Swayam’- Digital Learning and Monitoring Cell, EMRC, University of Mysore and the Administrative Training Institute, held at the Vignana Bhavana in Manasagangotri today.Mysore Vivi-ATI contract-skill-development-government-officials-Introduction-Online-Courses-Chancellor-Prof.G.Hemant Kumar
Presiding over the program he said, this workshop is being held as per an agreement to develop skills and hone the knowledge of government employees. “More such workshops will be conducted in the coming days if required.”
“It is a vocational course conducted at various selected centres of ATI. It helps in E-learning, designing of curriculum, preparation of course subjects, audio-visual resource recording, web portal resources, maintaining of the examination process and online program quality,” he explained.
Prof. H. Rajashekar, Director EMRC, Dr. H.S. Kumar, Coordinator, ‘SWAYAM’ Course, University of Mysore, and others participated in the workshop.
