NSS Awards bestowed upon best NSS units, prog. officers, volunteers

Mysuru, Jan. 16, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The best NSS units, Program Officers, Volunteers and activists of University of Mysore were bestowed with the NSS Awards 2019-20.
The awards were given away at the ‘National Youth Week’ program held at the Vignana Bhavana, in Manasa Gangotri premises in Mysuru today, organised by the National Services Scheme of the University of Mysore.
Best Unit awards: Govt. Science College, Hassan, S.B.R.R. Mahajana PU College, Mysuru, Belagola D Paul First Grade College of Mandya District and the Govt. Women’s College.
Best Program Officers award winners: C.S. Mohan of Govt. Science College, Hassan; Dr. A.G. Dharmesh of the S.B.R.R. Mahajana PU College, Mysuru; A.N. Hemalatha of the Belagola D Paul First Grade College, Mandya; Dr. M. Kempamma of the Govt. Women’s College, Mandya.
Best Volunteers award winners: M.K. Sachin of Yuvaraja College, Mysuru; M. Siddartha of the S.B.R.R. Mahajana PU College, Mysuru; P. Nivedita of the M.M.K. and S.D.M. Women’s University; M.G. Jyothika of the Maharani Women’s Science College.
U.Ka. Subbarayachar Memorial Award: M.P> Nischay Jain of the Jnanadeepa First Grade College; Vedashri of the Govt. Women’s College, Mandya; Srilalitha of the M.M.K. and S.D.M. Women’s University.
Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, Sri Swami Muktidananda Maharaj of Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Dr. Poornima Jogi, NSS State Implementation Officer, Prof. R. Shivappa, Registrar, UoM, Dr. B. Chandrashekar, NSS Coordinating Officer were present.
