No politics in Padayatra: We will continue our fight against thick-skinned BJP – D.K. Shivakumar

Mysuru, January 3, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): “The BJP people are projecting the Congress Padayatra call for Mekedatu project as Congress political gimmick. But we are not doing any politics in this. Any party member can participate in it,” said KPCC President D.K. Shivakumar.
He along with the leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah, held a press meet in Mysuru today. D.K. Shivakumar informed that there is no hurdle for the Mekedatu project, however, our call for padayatra is being opposed. “There is no medicine for jealousy. We will digest everything. Anyone can participate in the padayatra. We will struggle when it comes to the matter of our land and water. We will continue warning the government,” he added.
