Night curfew imposed in state: Schools-colleges to commence from August 23

Bengaluru, August 6, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The fear of the possible COVID 3rd wave has intensified, forcing the State Government to announce a night curfew in the State.
Speaking to the media persons today after participating in the expert committee meeting about the need of introducing tough rules, he informed that night curfew will be enforced across the state from today. Accordingly, the curfew will be in force from 9.00 pm to 5 pm. It is also decided to impose a weekend curfew in the border districts of the state, he said.
School-Colleges to start
The State Government has decided to commence the schools and colleges in the State in two phases. 9, 10, 11, and 12th standards will start from August 23 and the classes will be held in batches. “Decision about the commencement of primary school will be made after discussing with the experts,” the Chief Minister informed.
