Minister Sriramulu assures to provide laptops to research students soon

Mysuru, Nov. 26, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Social Welfare Department Minister, Govt. of Karnataka Sri Sriramulu has assured to provide laptops to SC and ST students who are pursuing research in Mysore University.
He participated in a programme organised by the Dr. Ambedkar Research Center, of Mysore University, held today on the occasion of National Constitution Day.
In his address Minister Sriramulu observed that distribution of laptops to SC and ST students was pending for the last two years. “There are about 300 students who are pursuing research and measures will be taken to distribute laptops to all of them at the earliest. It will cost a sum of Rs. 1.25 crore and I will give instructions in this regard to the officials concerned immediately,” he said.
