“Let us discuss and solve the problem, don’t go for bundh”: Transport Minister Lakshman Savadi appeals employees

Kalaburagi, Apr. 06, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “Deputy Chief Minister and Transport Minister Lakshman Savadi have appealed to the transport department officials to drop the protest as he cannot give them any assurance due to the code of conduct which will be in force till May 4 given the byelection.
The Transport Department employees had called for a protest from tomorrow against the State Government alleging it of not fulfilling their demands. Speaking about this issue today at Kalaburagi, DCM Lakshman Savdi clarified that he had already discussed the matter with all the persons concerned and requested to drop the plan of protest as the election code of conduct is in force.ransport- transport workers-DCM- Laxman Savadi -appeals
“Above these, people are also facing COVID pandemic and it would be incorrect to plan the protest at this time. I have also called for a meeting with the employees’ leaders today afternoon and will inform you about the further decision after the meeting,” he said.
