ಮೈಸೂರು,ಜನವರಿ,08,2021(www.justkannada.in) : ಜನವರಿ 19ಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರಾವೇಶಾತಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳಲಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದವರಿಗೆ ಜ.25ರಿಂದ ತರಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ನಿರ್ಧರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಕ್ರಾಫರ್ಡ್‌ ಭವನದ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಕ್‌ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್‌ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಪದವಿ ತರಗತಿಗಳ ಆರಂಭ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಜ.18ರಂದು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರ ಸಭೆ ಕರೆಯಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಕ್ತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಪದವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆನ್ ಲೈನ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಬಹುತೇಕ ಪಠ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ಪಠ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಕೊರತೆ
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ದೊರಕಿಸಿಕೊಡಲು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ವಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಖಾಯಂ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಯ ಕೊರತೆಯಿದೆ. ಸರ್ಕಾರ ನೂತನ ಬಜೆಟ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಹುದ್ದೆಗಳನ್ನು ಭರ್ತಿಮಾಡಿಕೊಡಬೇಕು ರಾಜ್ಯಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಮನವಿಮಾಡಿದರು..
ವಿವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 700ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಂದಿ ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ವರ್ಷ 14 ಮಂದಿ ನಿವೃತ್ತಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹೊಸ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳು ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸುದ್ದಿಗೋಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಲಸಚಿವ ಪ್ರೊ.ಆರ್.ಶಿವಪ್ಪ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರ ಅರ್ಹತಾ ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಪ್ರೊ.ಎಚ್.ರಾಜಶೇಖರ್ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.

PG Degree classes to begin from Jan. 25: MoU VC
Mysuru, Jan. 08, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “Admissions for the Postgraduate degree courses will end on January 19, and the classes will begin from Jan. 25,” said Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
Addressing a press meet held at the Crawford Hall, in Mysuru today, he explained that the syllabus has already been almost completed through online classes and the remaining lessons will be completed soon and preparations will be made to conduct the examinations.
On the occasion he requested the State Government to fill in the vacancies of professors and other permanent staff in the University.
