IT raid on BSY’s aide: Minister K.S. Eshwarappa’s response

Bagalkot, October 8, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): In his response to the IT raid on one of the aides of former Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, the Rural Development, and Panchayat Raj Minister K.S. Eshwarappa today expressed his view that whoever has committed a mistake shall face punishment. If they have not done anything wrong, they will come out clean.
Speaking to the presspersons in Bagalkot today, he said, “BSY himself has agreed that the person whose house has been raided is one of his close aides. A raid doesn’t confirm that he has committed a mistake. It is wrong to suspect BSY.”
In his reply to a question by the scribes about the earlier allegations that the Govt. of India is targeting only Congress party leaders, Eshwarappa said, “Yes the Congress leaders always used to blame that only their party leaders are being targeted. Why are they keeping quiet now? It proves that the Govt. of India or ED is not biased. They will raid whomever they suspect. The Congress leaders should apologize to the people of the state for their earlier allegations.”
