Mysuru, Dec. 12, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): “It is indeed a matter of pride that the Mysore University has a rich and long history and a legacy. The university supports all the activities of the senior students association for the development of the university,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Mysore University.
Speaking at the achievers’ felicitation programme he said, “the Mysore University has a 104-year-long history. If we had actual figures of all those who have learned here perhaps it would cross 10 million. The Senior Students Association which could have helped a lot for the development of the university came into existence very lately. The contribution of alumnus in the development of many reputed universities across the world is laudable,” he added.
