Increase in reservation for farmers children in agriculture universities

Bengaluru, Mar. 08, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): There is good news for farmers’ wards in the State Budget. The government has announced an increase of reservation of seats in agricultural Universities for farmer’s children from 40% to 50%.
A sum of Rs.31,028 crore grants has been announced for the agricultural sector. A sum of Rs. 10 crores is provided for the upgradation of the silk market in Ramanagara to hi-tech and Adichunchanagiri Math, Rs. 10 crore for Mandya stadium, Rs. 200 crore grants for Basava Kalyana.
