Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar expresses displeasure on seeing the condition at BRIMS

Bidar, Apr. 30, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar visited the BRIMS College and Hospital in Bidar. He expressed his deep displeasure looking at the condition and took the officials concerned to the task.
The Minister took the Director to task questioning why he is not utilizing the services of the doctors and staff properly. He expressed his deep displeasure as the officer concerned couldn’t reply properly about the attendance of staff. The hospital has more than 700 staff but their services are not being utilized properly. The Director failed to provide the details to the Minister irking him.
After coming to know about the absence of doctors and staff during night hours, and allowing relatives of the patients into the wards he took the CEO to task. He also expressed displeasure on the officers concerned for not following the guidelines including providing medicines kits to the patients who are in home isolation and monitoring.
He instructed that all the house surgeons, resident doctors, PG students should compulsorily be present and also make arrangements for providing telecalling and counseling services.
District In-charge Minister Prabhu Chavan, MP Bhagwanth Khooba, MLAs Bandeppa Kashempur and Nahim Khan accompanied him.
