GP elections: Candidates should mandatorily follow COVID precautions even during campaigning

Mysuru, Dec. 3, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Gram Panchayath elections are being held in two phases in the State on December 22 and 27, even amidst the Corona pandemic. In this background, the Mysuru Zilla Panchayath CEO Dr. Bharathi has given strict instructions that all the candidates should mandatorily follow COVID guidelines issued by the government while campaigning.
Providing details of the preparations of GP elections to the press persons, she informed that the Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) are issued, and the Health Department has issued guidelines, and the ZP is committed to conducting the elections accordingly.
