Govt. has failed in making arrangements for cremation of COVID infected dead bodies: Former CM HDK expresses displeasure

Bengaluru, Apr. 23, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy today alleged that the State Government has completely failed in making arrangements to conduct cremations of the COVID infected dead bodies in a dignified manner.
The former CM in his tweet has expressed ire upon the State Government stating that the State Government is so hopeless that it can’t even make arrangements to conduct cremations of the COVID infected dead bodies in a dignified way. It shows its absolute irresponsibility and negligence.
He demanded the State Government to awaken at least now and make immediate arrangements to conduct cremations of the persons who have died of COVID infection in the deemed forest areas spread towards all directions surrounding Bengaluru. At least 25 bodies can be cremated in each place, he explained.
“There are drylands in all the directions on the outskirts of Bengaluru. Hence, the State Government should make immediate arrangements for the cremation of the bodies in a dignified way. The government should give first preference to this,” he has demanded.
“The government has utterly failed in managing the pandemic. I request it at least to make arrangements to conduct the cremations properly,” his tweet read.
