Former CM Siddaramaiah gives green signal for coalition in Mysuru

Mysuru, Feb. 20, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister and Congress leader Siddaramaiah has given green signal for a coalition with JDS, in the Mysore City Corporation Mayoral elections.
Corporators and party leaders of the city met Siddaramaiah today to discuss the coalition. MCC Congress members and former mayors also had taken part in the meeting and expressed their wish to have a coalition with JDS in the mayoral elections.
Siddaramaiah has given a green signal for the same. Speaking after the meeting he said that he has no issues if JDS voluntarily approaches him for a coalition. “He also said that Congress should be given the Mayoral post as per the old agreement. I have asked everybody to stay united and not to fight,” he said.
