Education Minister Suresh Kumar launches ‘Sakaala Week

‘Mysuru, Nov. 30, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Primary and Secondary Education Minister Suresh Kumar launched the ‘Sakaala Week’ through video conferencing from Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru.Education Minister- Suresh Kumar-inaugurating –sakala saptaha
The ‘Sakaala Week’ is being observed with the objective of expediting the disposal of applications received from the public and create awareness among the people about Sakaala. On the occasion, he instructed that all the Deputy Commissioners should conduct the District Coordinating Committee meeting and ensure implementation of Sakaala programme.
The first phase of the programme will be held from November 30 to December 5 covering Urban Development, Revenue, Transport, Food and Civil Supplies, and Consumer Affairs Departments. While the second phase will be held from December 7 to 11 covering Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, the third phase will be held from December 14 to 19, covering all the other departments.Education Minister- Suresh Kumar-inaugurating –sakala saptaha
A total number of 1025 services are covered under Sakaala. While a total number of22,88,81,652 applications have been received, 22,82,55,866 applications have been disposed of. Mandya, Chikkamagaluru and Chikkaballapura Districts are in the first three places in implementation of ‘Sakaala,’ followed by Bengaluru City, Bidar and Raichur.
