Dixon Company proposes investment in Karnataka: DCM Ashwathnarayan holds discussion

Bengaluru, Feb. 25, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Noida-based Dixon Company which is one of the leading laptops, tabs, and other electronic goods production company has proposed to invest in Karnataka. Deputy Chief Minister and IT-BT, Electronics Minister, Govt. of Karnataka Dr. C.N. Ashwathnarayan held discussions regarding the investment with the company officials.
Mr. Sunil Vachani, Executive President, Dixon submitted a proposal of investment and has demanded space and other requirements to set up the production unit in Karnataka. The DCM has responded positively and has assured to provide the land required.Dickson Company-investment- proposal – state-DCM- Ashwath Narayan.
The Company has demanded 10-15 acres of land. If the company sets up its production unit anywhere in the surroundings of Bengaluru city it will get all the government benefits including subsidy.
Dr. Ashwathnarayan also has informed that the company would be shown the land available at Mastenahalli, Mindenahalli in Kolar District, Haraluru in Bengaluru Rural District, and Harohalli in Ramanagara District. “We have also explained them about giving preference of jobs to locals,” he added.
Mr. Atul Lal, Managing Director, Dixon, Ramana Reddy, Additional Chief Secretary, IT-BT Department, P. Pradeep, Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister Dr. C.N. Ashwathanarayan, Meena Nagaraj, Director, IT Department and Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner, Industrial Development and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
