ಮೈಸೂರು,ಸೆಪ್ಟಂಬರ್,20,2022(www.justkannada.in): ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಕಮಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಗೌರವ ಲಭಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಅದರ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಕ್ರಾಫರ್ಡ್ ಹಾಲ್ ನ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಅವರ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಎನ್ ಸಿಸಿ ಗ್ರೂಪ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ನಡೆದ ಸರಳ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ. ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಕಮಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದೇ ವೇಳೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಎನ್ ಸಿಸಿ ಗ್ರೂಪ್ ಕಮಾಂಡರ್ ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಆರ್ ಆರ್ ಮೆನನ್ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು.
ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿವಿ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಕರ್ನಲ್ ಕಮಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಗೌರವದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ನನ್ನ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವಂತೆ ಈ ಶ್ರೇಣಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಇದೀಗ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ನನ್ನ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಘಳಿಗೆ ಎಂದರು.
ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಗೆ ಬರುವ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್ ಸಿಸಿಯನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. “ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಸ್ತು” ಎಂಬ ಧ್ಯೇಯವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಮುದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೊಡ್ಡದಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಬದ್ಧನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದರು.

Mysuru, September 20, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore was honoured with the reputed Col.Command recognition recently. The certificate was issued today.
A program was held by the NCC group at the Vice-Chancellor’s office in Crawford Hall, where the certificate was issued to the Vice-Chancellor. Mysuru NCC group commander Col. R.R. Menon was present.
Speaking after receiving the honour, Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar said that the honour he has received has increased his responsibility of serving the society in another way. It is one of the most precious moments of my life,” he said.
“I will try to strengthen and extend the NCC to all the colleges that come under the University of Mysore. I keep the “Integrity and Discipline” theme always in my mind and will be committed to develop it among the student community,” he added.
