Deepavali gift to Chitradurga by State Govt.: Gives nod to Medical College

Bengaluru, Nov. 12, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): The State Government has fulfilled a long pending demand of the people of Chitradurga for construction of the Medical College.
The State Cabinet led by Chief Minister Sri B.S. Yedyurappa has approved the establishment of a medical college in Chitradurga, according to sources. The CM has also given his nod to release a sum of Rs. 60 crore for this purpose.
It can be recalled here that the earlier Congress Govt. in the state had withheld the release of grants for construction of the medical college in Chitradurga.
