COVID vaccination drive launched in Mysuru in the presence of DC Rohini Sindhoori

Mysuru, Jan. 16 (www.justkannada.in): The first phase of vaccination against COVID-19 pandemic was launched in Mysuru District today.
The COVID vaccine campaign was launched at 9 centres in Mysuru District on the first day today. Three persons were vaccinated at the Trauma Care Centre, in PKTB Hospital premises in Mysuru, in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Rohini Sindhoori.dc-rohini-sindhuri-corona-vaccine-delivery-mysore
Speaking on the occasion the DC said it is indeed a matter of pride and happiness that an Indian company has been successful in researching a vaccine against COVID-19 pandemic. “There is a demand for 36,000 vaccines in the district as of now and we have received 20,500 doses. In the first phase, vaccine will be given to registered health activists and D group workers. Information of the beneficiaries in the second round is being collected, which includes pourakarmikas, revenue officers, and police officers.
