ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ಕಾರ್ಯಪಡೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರೂ ಆದ ಉಪ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಡಾ.ಸಿ.ಎನ್.‌ಅಶ್ವತ್ಥನಾರಾಯಣ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾದ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲ ಸರಂಜಾಮುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ವರ್ಚುಯಲ್‌ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಸಿಇಒ ಚುಂಗ್‌ ಹೂನ್ ಲೀ ಮುಂತಾದವರು ಭಾಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅರ್ಷಿ ಕೃಷ್ಣಾಚಾರ್‌  ಇದ್ದರು. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹೊಂಗಿರಣ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ ಮೂಲಕ ಈ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ನೆರವು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಡಿಸಿಎಂ ಅವರು ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್‌ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಾ.ರವಿಶಂಕರ್‌, ಡಾ.ಪಿ.ಎನ್.‌  ಗೋವಿಂದ ರಾಜುಲು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಕಂಪನಿಯವರೇ ಹೇಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಈ ಉತ್ಪನ್ನಗಳ ವೆಚ್ಚ ಸುಮಾರು ಏಳು ಕೋಟಿ ಆಗಲಿದೆ.

South Korean company supports the battle against COVID
Donates high-end medical supplies to the state

Bengaluru: South Korea based multinational company Seoul Semiconductors handed over medical supplies worth Rs 7.5 crores under its CSR fund to the state government on Friday, to support the battle of the state against the COVID pandemic.

Expressing thankfulness to the gesture shown by the company, DyCM & State COVID task force head Dr.C.N.Ashwatha Narayana, told, that these medical supplies would come in handy.

India and South Korea share similar cultures and have been good trade partners in many sectors. Now, this has been extended to humanitarian service as well, Narayana said.

Medical supplies include medical user masks (KF94), high-end gloves, PPE kits, mobile air purifiers, Violeds which sterilizes air-borne bacteria, viruses, etc, and thereby helping to keep ICU wards, ambulances, PCR vans protected and prevent further spread of diseases.

Speaking on the occasion, Arshi Krishnachar, Country Vice-President, Seoul Semiconductor said, “these high-end masks, gloves, air purifiers, and Violeds will help to serve the purpose of protecting frontline which includes doctors, staff nurses, BBMP workers, paramedical forces, and policemen.”

Chung-Hoon Lee, CEO and others participated through vedio conference. Ravi Shankar, and Dr.P.N.Govinda Rajulu of Hongirana Trust were present.
