COVID appropriate guidelines to continue till month end- Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar

Benaluru, January 14, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): “As the COVID-19 Pandemic is spreading across the State, we have decided to extend the COVID guidelines till this month-end,” opined Health Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar.
Speaking to the media persons in Bengaluru today, he informed that tough rules will continue in the State. “Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai himself has told this. However, the cooperation of the people is very important in controlling the pandemic, which is increasing in several places. I request everybody not to neglect even though there are no symptoms. Please wear masks compulsorily. For those who are eligible to get the booster dose please don’t forget to take it. Those who haven’t taken the 2nd dose yet, please take it immediately. I also request people not to gather in groups and request to maintain physical distancing,” he urged.
The weekend curfew in the State will continue. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has informed us that controlling corona by imposing lockdown at this juncture is not correct. He has asked to take precautionary measures without troubling the people. “However, strict measures will be taken in the districts where the cases are more,” he informed.
