CM BSY launches COVID vaccination campaign for citizens above 18 years of age

Bengaluru, May 1, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa today symbolically launched the COVID vaccination campaign for citizens above 18 years of age in Bengaluru.
The campaign was symbolically launched at the Vajpayee Medical College in Shivajinagar, Bengaluru.
Speaking later he informed that the State Government has an aim to vaccinate 3.56 crore people in the state. Presently we are providing vaccination to all above 45 years of age. Vaccination is the only safety weapon against Coronavirus. It is being provided on a preference basis, as per the instructions of the Govt. of India. All eligible persons should register themselves and take the vaccination without fail and cooperate with the government in its fight against the pandemic, he said.
“We have a total storage of 4 lakh vaccine vials in-store as of now, including the 3 lakh that arrived today,” he informed.
