ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಜೂ,23,2020(www.justkannada.in): ಕೆ.ಸಿ. ವ್ಯಾಲಿ, ಎತ್ತಿನಹೊಳೆ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಚುರುಕುಗೊಳಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜನಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ನಿಯೋಗವು ಇಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್. ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕೆ.ಸಿ.ವ್ಯಾಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಎತ್ತಿನಹೊಳೆ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನದ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚೆ ನಡೆಸಿತು.
ಕೆ.ಸಿ. ವ್ಯಾಲಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರದಿಂದ 400 ಎಂ ಎಲ್ ಡಿ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಿಸಿದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಕೇವಲ 284 ಎಂ ಎಲ್ ಡಿ ನೀರು ಮಾತ್ರ ಲಭ್ಯವಿದೆ. ಮಳೆ ನೀರು ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ಸೇರದೆ, ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣೆಗೆ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ನೀರು ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿಸಲು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಜಲ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದರು. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಸ್ ಟಿಪಿಗಳ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ ವರ್ಧನೆಗೆ ಕ್ರಮ ವಹಿಸುವಂತೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎತ್ತಿನಹೊಳೆ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಭೂಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ತೊಡಕು ನಿವಾರಿಸಿ, ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ ಚುರುಕುಗೊಳಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ನಿಯೋಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ವೈ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಲಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಸಚಿವ ರಮೇಶ್ ಜಾರಕಿಹೊಳಿ, ಸಣ್ಣ ನೀರಾವರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾನೂನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸದೀಯ ವ್ಯವಹಾರಗಳ ಸಚಿವ ಜೆ.ಸಿ. ಮಾಧುಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಅಬಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ. ನಾಗೇಶ್, ಲೋಕಸಭಾ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಎಸ್. ಮುನಿಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ವಿಧಾನನಸಭೆ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಸಕ ಕೆ.ಆರ್. ರಮೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಶಾಸಕರು, ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

CM directs to expedite KC Valley, Yettinahole works
A delegation of elected representatives from Kolar district met Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa and discussed about the progress of K.C. Valley and Yettinahole projects.
Under K.C. Valley project, 400 MLD treated water has to be released. But only 284 MLD treated water is being received from Bengaluru. It was observed in the meeting that rain water is wasted in the city. Therefore Chief Minister directed BWSSB to take steps to check this and make this water available for treatment.
He also directed officials to step up the treatment capacity of STPs.
On this occasion, Chief Minister also assured the delegation that the Yettinahole works would be expedited by removing hurdles in land acquisition.
Water Resources Minister Ramesh Jarkiholi, Minor Irrigation Minister J.C. Madhuswamy, Excise and Kolar district in charge minister K. Nagesh, Loksabha Member S. Muniswamy, Former Speaker of legislative assembly K.R. Ramesh Kumar and other legislators, senior officers of the Government were present.
