Case of copying during Police Constable exams handed over to CID

Bengaluru, November 4, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The State Home Department has handed over the case of copying during the Police Constable recruitment exams using technology to the Criminal Investigation Department.
The competitive exams for the recruitment of police constables were held on October 24. A few students had attempted to copy in the exams using blue tooth. Upon reliable information, the police raided the examination center located at the Ramatheerthanagara in Belagavi and held 12 persons in this regard, including two candidates appearing for the exams.
The police had also seized 33 mobile phones, 9 master card devices, 13 blue tooth devices, three tabs, and one laptop. The handwork of police was suspected in the case. The State Government has issued orders to hand over the case to the CID.
