ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ,ಜುಲೈ,22,2022(www.justkannada.in):  ಮಾಜಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಪುತ್ರ ಬಿವೈ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಅವರಿಗಾಗಿ ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವನ್ನ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಮುಂದಿನ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರದಿಂದ ಬಿವೈ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಮಾಜಿ ಸಿಎಂ  ಬಿ.ಎಸ್‌ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರನಿಗೆ ಕೇತ್ರ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಬಿ.ವೈ.ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮಾಡ್ತಾರೆ. ವರುಣಾದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮಾಡಲ್ಲ. ಮೈಸೂರು ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗೆ ಒತ್ತಡವಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾನ ತೆರವಾಗುವುದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದರು.

ನಾನು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಖಾಲಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಶಿಕಾರಿಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಪುತ್ರ ವಿಜಯೇಂದ್ರ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮತಗಳ ಅಂತರದಿಂದ ಗೆಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಎಂದು ಬಿಎಸ್ ಯಡಿಯೂರಪ್ಪ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

Shivamogga, July 22, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has sacrificed the Shikaripura constituency seat to his son B.Y. Vijayendra.
He has declared that Vijayendra will contest from Shikaripura in the next assembly elections. “I have offered my constituency to my son. He will contest he will not contest from Varuna. However, there is a lot of pressure that Vijayendra should contest from the Varuna constituency. But as this constituency is vacant now he will contest from here,” he informed. He also appealed to the people of the constituency to help his son Vijayendra to register a thumping victory.
