BSY resigns as CM: Governor asks him to continue as provisory

Bengaluru, July 26,2021 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has resigned from his post. The row over his resignation, which had become a hot discussion among the people in the State has come to an end with his resignation.
B.S. Yediyurappa had earlier informed that he would submit his resignation during the State BJP government’s two-year achievement program, with tears in his eyes. However, he visited Raj Bhavan and submitted his resignation to the governor Thawar Chand Gehlot.
The governor received his resignation and informed him to continue as provisory till his successor his announced. B.S. Yediyurappa was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Karnataka on July 26, 2019, after the end of the coalition government.
