ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ,18,2021(www.justkannada.in):  ಬೈಕ್, ಫ್ರಿಡ್ಜ್, ಟಿವಿ ಇರುವವರಿಗೆ ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ರದ್ಧು ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ಜನರ ತೀವ್ರ ಆಕ್ರೋಶಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದ ಆಹಾರ ಸಚಿವ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಕತ್ತಿ ಇದೀಗ ಮತ್ತೆ ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಮಾನದಂಡ ಬದಲಾಯಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವ ಆಹಾರ ಸಚಿವ ಉಮೇಶ್ ಕತ್ತಿ, ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಮಾನದಂಡ ಬದಯಾಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಜತೆ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ ಒಳಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನ ಸರಿಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇನ್ನು 14,844 ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳು ವಾಪಸ್ ಬಂದಿವೆ. ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ, ಹೆಚ್.ಡಿ ಕುಮಾರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇಕಾಬಿಟ್ಟಿ ಬಿಪಿಎಲ್ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ಹಂಚಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರು, ನೌಕರರು ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ವಾಪಸ್ ನೀಡಿ. ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 30ರೊಳಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಡ್ ವಾಪಸ್ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೇ ಕಠಿಣ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

Bengaluru, Feb. 18, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Food and Civil Supplies Minister Umesh Katti who had earned public wrath recently by saying that BPL cards of persons who possess bike, fridge, and TV will be canceled has again given a statement saying that his government would change the criteria to possess a BPL card.
Speaking about this the Minister has said that they would change the BPL card possession criteria and discussion in this regard has already been held with the officials concerned. All the illegalities will be set right within April.
He also informed that 14844 cards have been returned. “BPL cards were issued without assessing the eligibility during former CMs Siddaramaiah and H.D. Kumaraswamy’s tenure. I request rich people who have BPL cards to return them within March 30 or they will have to face legal action,” he added.
